MLN Newswire-www.mlntherawfeed.com-Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN — The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have agreed to terms with outfielder Rondell White on a one-year contract for the 2007 season, with a vesting option for the 2008 season.
White, 34, batted .246 (83-337) with 17 doubles, one triple, seven homers and 38 rbi in 99 games with the Twins
last season. He hit .321 with 11 doubles, one triple, seven homers and 23 rbi after the All-Star break and was 5-12 (.417) with one double, one homer and two rbi in three postseason games.
White has a career batting average of .286 (1500-5248) with 292 doubles, 34 triples, 194 homers and 748 rbi
in 1436 games with the Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins.
