Detroit Tigers Get Some Relief With Lefty Edward Campusano From Milwaukee Brewers - MLB

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has acquired lefthanded pitcher Edward Campusano from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations.

Selected by Milwaukee from the Chicago Cubs in the major league phase of today's Rule 5 Draft, Campusano split the 2006 season between Single A Peoria and Double A West Tenn, combining to post a 2-1 record, 1.46 ERA (55.1IP/9ER) and 25 saves in 44 outings. He fanned 71 batters between his two stops, while limiting the opposition to a .188 batting average (38x202).

During his five-year professional career, he has compiled a 9-13 record and 3.17 ERA (213.0IP/75ER) in 109 outings.
