MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – ANAHEIM, CA - The Angels will not tender a 2008 contract to infielder Dallas McPherson, thus making him a free agent. This announcement was made Tuesday by Angels' General Manager Tony Reagins.

McPherson, 27, missed the entire 2007 season due to an injury. McPherson was placed on the 60-day disabled list March 31 and activated him Nov. 13. Originally selected by the Angels in the second round of the 2001 free agent draft, McPherson owns a lifetime .247 average (89/360) with 50 runs scored, 19 doubles, two triples, 18 home runs and 45 RBI in 117 games. He has appeared with the Angels in parts of the 2004, 2005 and 2006 seasons. McPherson has been on the disabled list three times in his career (2005, 2006 & 2007), missing at least half of the 2005-2006 seasons and all of 2007.
