MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - OTTAWA – The Lynx have added pitcher Rick Bauer and catcher Dusty Wathan to the roster today.

 

Bauer, 30, spent parts of the 2003, 2004 and 2005 seasons with the Lynx. He was assigned to the Lynx this morning by the Philadelphia Phillies. Bauer spent all of last season with the Texas Rangers, earning a 3-1 record with a 3.55 ERA in 58 games, mostly out of the bullpen. He has a record of 9-14 with a 3.67 ERA in 48 games over three seasons in Ottawa.

 

Wathan, 33, has been transferred from the Phillies’ Double-A affiliate in Reading. He started the season on the Lynx roster, but did not appear in a game before being placed on the temporarily inactive list and then transferred to Reading. He appeared in one game with the Reading Phillies, going 2-for-5 with a run scored. This is his 14th professional season and he has played more than 900 professional games.
