Akron Aeros Stephen Head on DL, Brandon Pinckney Added from Spring Training - Eastern League

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - The Aeros made a roster move today, with OF Stephen Head going on the DL with a broken bone in his right (non-throwing) wrist and IF Brandon Pinckney joining the team from extended spring training.

Head had appeared in just five games with Akron following a return from
off-season shoulder surgery, but was hitting .357 with three RBI in those
contests. He will not need surgery and is expected to miss a minimum of
two weeks.

Pinckney spent all of last year with akron, hitting .270 with three homers
and 36 RBI in 79 games. The native of Elk Grove, CA was selected by
Cleveland in the 12th round of the 2003 draft out of Sacramento City
College.
