Released RHP Kirk Saarloos Optioned to Sacramento River Cats by Parent Club Oakland Athletics

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s today announced that right-handed pitcher Kirk Saarloos cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento.
 
Saarloos was selected by the A’s on April 14 and made two relief appearances with Oakland before he was designated for assignment on Wednesday.  He compiled a 2.35 ERA without a decision after going 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in two starts for Sacramento.
