Columbus Catfish Recall RHPs Austin Hinkle, Jose Mejias - Advanced A, South Atlantic League

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Columbus, Georgia- Effective Thursday May 1st, the Columbus Catfish will be calling up right-handed pitchers Austin Hinkle and Jose Mejias from extended spring training.  Columbus will also be sending relief pitchers John Baird and Travis Risser to extended spring training. 

Hinkle spent the 2007 season with the Princeton Devil Rays, compiling a record of 4-2 with a 1.64 ERA.  With the New York Mets Venezuela League team, Jose Mejias went 4-5 and notched a 3.20 ERA.   

The Catfish continue their series with the Tourists Thursday night at historic Golden Park; first pitch at 7 P.M..
