RHP Alex Serrano Placed on Disabled List by the Salt Lake Bees
Friday, May 16, 2008 at 05:48PM MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – SALT LAKE CITY (May 15, 2008) – The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has placed right-handed pitcher Alex Serrano on the disabled list with a right ulnar collateral sprain.
Serrano, 27, has appeared in 14 games for the Bees in 2008, owning a 2-0 record with a 6.50 ERA. The native of Barcelona, Venezuela made his major league debut with the Angels on April 16 against the Kansas City Royals. In one inning, he allowed one hit with one strike out. Serrano signed with the Angels as a free agent in December 2007.
