MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – WOODBRIDGE, Va.— The Washington Nationals have announced today that pitcher Odalis Perez  is expected to make an appearance tonight with the Potomac Nationals. He is expected throw four to five innings or 65 pitches.

Perez was placed on the 15-day disabled list because of left shoulder tendonitis on June 4th. Perez has not pitched in a game since June 3 and hopes to return to Washington next week.
SeatSub Challenge 2008 Contest  The 30-year-old becomes the sixth Washington player this season to play with Potomac after Ronnie Belliard, Paul Lo Duca, Shawn Hill, Chad Cordero, and Elijah Dukes all had brief stints with the P-Nats while recovering from an injury.
Perez was signed to a minor league contract by the Nationals on February 19 and was the club’s Opening Day starter, tossing five innings and allowing just one run in the inaugural game at Nationals Park against the Atlanta Braves. He ranks seventh in wins (66) among active Major League pitchers born in the Dominican Republic. A former non-drafted free agent signed by the Braves in 1994, Perez made his Major League debut in 1998 with Atlanta and has also pitched with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals in his nine-year big league career.
