Baltimore Orioles Recall Brandon Fahey From Triple-A Norfolk Tides - International League

The Orioles today announced that they have recalled INF BRANDON FAHEY from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned INF OSCAR SALAZAR to the Tides.
 
Fahey, 27, began the season with the Orioles and was optioned to Norfolk on April 29, batting .279 (41-147) in 43 games with the Tides.  He batted .200 (5-25) in 15 games in April with the Orioles.
 
Salazar, 30, batted .235 (4-17) with 2 home runs and 4 RBI in 9 games for the Orioles after his contract was purchased from Norfolk on June 10.
