Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Purchase Contract of Pensacola Pelicans Catcher David Golliner

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – The Pensacola Pelicans announced that catcher David Golliner has been purchased by the Anaheim Angels.  Golliner will report to the single-A Cedar Rapids Colonels of the Midwest League. 
 

Golliner, a Florida Southern College graduate, appeared in only two games since signing with Pelicans on July 5.  As a senior for the Moccasins, Golliner was voted Team MVP for his .351 batting average and team high, 12 homeruns, and 51 RBI.  As a junior, he received NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team honors for the Mocs.
