RHP Carlos Martinez Replaces RHP Tristan Crawford on Harrisburg Senators Roster

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Harrisburg, PA – RHP Carlos Martinez was added to the Harrisburg Senators’ roster Friday. RHP Tristan Crawford was placed on the Disabled List. 

   Martinez, 24, opened the season with Advanced-A Potomac, going 0-2 with 2 saves and a 3.35 ERA out of the bullpen. He was promoted to Triple-A Columbus for one appearance; on Wednesday he went 1.2 innings and gave up a run on three hits. Martinez is in his fifth professional season, all with the Expos/Nationals. In nine appearances last year with the Senators, he went 2-0 with a 6.56 ERA.

   Crawford, 24, is 2-3 with a 5.40 ERA for the Senators this season. Since moving to the bullpen in late June, he is 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in six appearances. 

   With the moves, the Senators have now had 54 different players in uniform this season. Only eight players from the Opening Day roster remain with the Senators.
