Clete Thomas Optioned to AAA Toledo Mud Hens by Detroit Tigers

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers yesterday optioned the contract of outfielder Clete Thomas to Triple A Toledo. Thomas is batting .284 (33x116) with nine doubles, a triple, home run and nine RBI in 40 games during two stints with the Tigers this season.

Additionally, the Tigers yesterday recalled the injury rehab assignment of outfielder Magglio Ordonez from Single A West Michigan. Ordonez is scheduled to be activated from the disabled list prior to tomorrow’s game at Baltimore. Ordonez has been sidelined since June 29 with a pulled oblique.
