Pitcher Angel Guzman Joins Daytona Cubs on Rehab Stint

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com -

Daytona Beach, Fla.  The Daytona Cubs are pleased to announce the addition of Angel Guzman to the team’s roster for a Major League rehab appearance.  Guzman joins Daytona and will be the teams starting pitcher tonight against the Vero Beach Devil Rays.

Guzman has spent parts of each of the last two seasons with Chicago, but due to injury has not pitched during the 2008 season.  Guzman becomes the third MLB rehabber of the season for Daytona joining Scott Eyre and Rich Hill.

The first place Cubs look for the sweep tonight at 7:05 against the Vero Beach Devil Rays.  The Cubs are currently on top of the standings in the Florida State League East and are two and a half games above the St. Lucie Mets.  For ticket information please log onto www.daytonacubs.com or call (386) 257-3172.
