Sioux Falls Canaries Pick up Juan Figueroa from Coastal Bend Aviators - Independent, American Association

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Pensacola, FL – The Sioux Falls Canaries have acquired OF Juan Figueroa in
a trade with the Coastal Bend Aviators.  In exchange for Figueroa, the
Canaries will give the Aviators future considerations.

In 47 games this season with the Aviators, Figueroa hit .290 with one
homer and 22 RBI.  On Tuesday, Figueroa went 3-for-4 with four RBI to lead
the Aviators to a 7-5 win over the Canaries.  Figueroa was drafted by the
Florida Marlins in the 37th round of the 2004 draft.  He spent the last
three seasons in the Marlins organization hitting .250 in 267 games with
14 homers and 131 RBI.

To make room on the roster for the newly acquired Figueroa, the Canaries
have released INF David Keesee.
