Jersey Express Re-Sign Mid-Season Replacement Reggie Winkfield for 2007-2008 Season -- ABA

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com –

Madison, NJ.  The ABA Jersey Express is proud to announce that Reggie Winkfield will return for the 2007-2008 season.  Reggie joined the Express midway through the 2006-2007 season, and quickly broke into the starting line-up.  A pure shooter with unlimited range, Winkfield became known to opponents as the "shooter."  With the addition of Winkfield, the Express add to the roster the needed outside shooter that will open the floor for its much improved frontcourt players.  Reggie has legitimate 3-point range and shoots it with lethal accuracy.

A graduate of Morgan State University, Reggie excelled both on and off the court.  Recognized for his academic achievements, Reggie was a member of the National Deans List "America's Outstanding Student Athletes."  Graduating with a 3.2 GPA, with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical and Computer Engineering, Reggie is everything that we hope the college athletes represent today.

Having played in the ABA for the South Alabama Bounce and Arkansas, Reggie has the experience necessary to help the Express not only improve on last seasons record, but advance deep into the playoffs.

"We are proud to have Reggie return for another season with us.  We look forward to great things from him, both on and off the court.  Reggie will be a player that we'll have represent us in our community affairs efforts," stated co-owner Marsha Blount.
