MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Dallas, TX.  The ABA Texas Tycoons have announced that they have resigned Jai Pradia and Mario Kinsey.  Pradia and Kinsey helped lead the Tycoons to a 25-5 record during the 06/07 season that culminated in a trip to the ABA Championship.

Jai Pradia was a force for the Tycoons last year averaging 12.7ppg, 9.5rpg, 3.1bpg while connecting on 47.4% of his field goal attempts.  "Jai is an incredible athlete," said Tycoons head coach Chris Terrell.  "He defends and rebounds, blocks shots and dunked on people like anyone in the league last year.  At 6'7 and 255lbs, Jai has a 44 inch vertical jump.  You just don't see guys at his size with that kind of athleticism; he's special.  We're fortunate to have Jai with us again this season."  Pradia came to the Tycoons last season having starred at Pittsburgh State and in Portugal's Pro Liga where he averaged 17ppg and 11rpg with 58% FG shooting.

Mario Kinsey also had some incredible performances for the Division and Conference Champions, averaging 17.2ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.8apg, while shooting 47.6% from the field an 33.8% from distance.  Kinsey was originally recruited and signed at Kansas University but later transferred to Texas College.  "Mario has good size, strength, and athleticism at the point guard position.  He sees the floor well and can create his own shot or create for others.  Having Mario and Jai with us this season gives us a huge leg up on the competition.  They're both players that can play at the next level and will be big difference makers for us," added Terrell.
