Minnesota Wild Reassign Left Wing Robbie Earl, Defenseman Jaime Sifers to Houston Aeros of AHL

 HOUSTON – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned left wing Robbie Earl and defenseman Jaime Sifers to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

     Earl, 24 (6/2/85), was recalled from Houston on Nov. 13 and posted two goals in seven games with Minnesota. He scored both goals, including the first of his NHL career, Nov. 15 in Carolina. At the time of his recall, Earl was leading the Aeros in scoring with eight points (5-3=8) in 15 contests. The 5-foot-11, 197-pound native of Chicago, Ill. recorded nine points (4-5=9) in 33 regular season games last season with Houston and added nine points (5-4=9) in 20 playoff contests after being acquired from Toronto in exchange for Ryan Hamilton on Jan. 21, 2009.

      Sifers, 26 (1/18/83), was recalled by the Wild Friday and skated 19:05 Saturday in Colorado – the second-highest TOI in his career. Sifers has no points in three games with the Wild this season. Sifers has posted three assists and nine penalty minutes in 15 games with the Aeros this season. Sifers recorded two assists and 18 PIM in 23 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2008-09 season. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of Stratford, Conn., played collegiately at the University of Vermont, where he was an ECAC Second All-Star Team selection in 2005. The Wild signed Sifers as a free agent July 8
