Florida Everblades Shake Up Roster by Making Multiple Player Moves Before Upcoming Road Trip

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com –

ESTERO, FL -  Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush, along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that  forward Adam Taylor has been recalled by the Florida Panthers and sent to Rochester of the American Hockey League, and that forward Dan Kronick has been signed to a contract.

Taylor makes his second trip to the AHL in his career after beginning the season with the Everblades playing in the team's first two games and scoring a goal in Florida's 6-1 win over Mississippi last Friday night.  In his previous AHL experience, Taylor skated in five games last season with Rochester registering two penalty minutes.  Since turning pro in 2005-06, the 23-year-old has 116 points (45g, 71a) in 146 games.

Kronick joins the Everblades after wrapping up his collegiate career last season.  The 23-year-old played in 40 games last season with the St. Cloud State Huskies and notched 26 points (14g, 12a) and 60 PIM.  The Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota native began his collegiate career playing two seasons with the University of Minnesota Duluth where he skated in 15 games and tallied three assists from 2002-04.  Kronick transferred to St. Cloud State following the 2003-04 season and resumed playing in 2005-06 when he skated in 36 games with the Huskies scoring 23 points (11g, 12a) and 55 PIM.

Additional moves by the Everblades saw the team activate defenseman Ryan Van Buskirk off the 7-day injured reserve list and move defenseman David Cornacchia to the 7-day IR from the 3-day IR.  Van Buskirk will look to make his 2007-08 debut this weekend when the Everblades take on the Texas Wildcatters.
