MLN Newswire-www.mlntherawfeed.com-The Jacksonville Jam (12-3) won its third straight game and 5th of its last 6 games with a 104-90 victory on Friday night over the Orlando Aces (2-8).

The Jam fell behind early as the Aces jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter.  But the Jam rallied and led 25-23 in a hotly contested first quarter on the Jam's homecourt at UNF Arena.

In the second quarter
Jacksonville spurted ahead and led by as many as 12 points behind the excellent play of guard, Donald Harris.  Harris scored 12 of his game high 22 points in the quarter and the Jam fought off a late last minute rally by Orlando to lead 52-47 at half-time.

Jacksonville
struck quickly in the third quarter behind spirited play off the bench by forward, Myron Anthony.  Anthony's play fueled a Jam run that extended the lead back to 14 points midway through the third period.  Anthony and frontcourt mate, DeRon Rutledge controlled the paint, and Jam point guard, Anthony Lumpkin, along with wings Trey Moore and Jerry Williams allowed Jacksonville to get control of the game and keep its lead.  The Jam led by ten points heading into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth quarter Rutledge, Moore, Williams, Harris, and Lumpkin controlled the tempo of the game and the Jacksonville Jam cruised to a 14 point victory.  Harris' 22 points led the
Jam.  Lumpkin followed up with another outstanding performance with 21 points, 3 assist and 6 steals on the night. Williams had another double/double for the Jam with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Moore had an off night from the floor scoring, but did contribute 11 points, had 9 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Jam power forward, DeRon Rutledge is rounding into the form that has made him one of the best forwards in the ABA over the past several years by putting together another double/double performance with 21 points and 16 rebounds.
