Grand Rapids Flight Down Elgin Racers 119-110 in IBL Championship Tournament Quarterfinals

MLN Newswire - Elkhart, IN—The Grand Rapids Flight defeated the Elgin Racers 119-110 in quarterfinal action in the IBL Championship Tournament.

The lead changed often during the first two quarters—with Grand Rapids taking a 53-51 lead into the half.  Elgin earned an eight point advantage at the end of the third quarter.  The Flight answered with a dominating fourth quarter effort, where they outscored the Racers 38 to 21 to seal the victory.

Lamont Barnes poured in 32 points for the Flight to lead all scorers.  Sherick Simpson and Brandon Moore led six Racers in double figures with 19 points each.
