Jacksonville Jam Stay Red Hot With Another Win, 99-88 Over The Orlando Aces - ABA

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Orlando, FL. - The ABA Jacksonville Jam have now won 8 of 9 games in the last 2 1/2 weeks and 11 of their last 13 since mid-January with a road victory over the Orlando Aces. The Jam came out fast early taking total control of the game in the first quarter. It was 26-18 at the half. In the second period, the Jam extended its lead to 23 points, but the Aces would not quit led by their ABA All-Star Alex Hill who had 20 points in the first half and cut the Jax lead at halftime to 57-40.

The lead was extended to 20 in the third quarter, but Orlando fought back to cut the lead to 10 points, finally winning 99-88 in what was a very competitive game. Williams led the Jam in scoring with 23, Rutledge had 16 with 9 rebounds, St. Pruex and Hatcher each had 16 points and 8 rebounds apiece. Orlando was led by Hill with 32 points, 13 rebunds, Johnny McClendon had 17 points, George McCloud 16.
