San Diego Surf Prepares For Inaugural ABA Season

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -San Diego, CA.  The ABA San Diego Surf professional basketball team is getting ready for its inaugural season that begins later in November.  The Surf's first pre-season game will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th at the Joan Kroc Center (73rd and University Avenue) where the Surf will host the Clayton CA "Showtime" from the ABA Northern California division.  Pre-season ticket prices range from $4-$8 at the door.

Players recently signed include Jamal Kendrick (Midwestern State University), Mike McNair (N. Arizona U), Aaron Hands (UC Riverside), John Clark (Univ St. Mary), Brian Hills (Univ Anchorage), Danny Mills (Oregon Tech), Chris Agnes (Morehouse College) and Jarett Flechsenhaar (Mayville State).
 
Terry Mason, with 31 years experience coaching in local high schools, LA Summer League and the former ABA San Diego Wildcats, heads up an enthusiastic group of young men ready to make a name in the Southern California division of the ABA.
 
Kick-start the family-friendly season of affordable entertainment.  Along with the game action, the Surf is also planning an NBA-like half-time entertainment with dance team, announcer and a DJ.
