Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11:57AM Season Recap: The season has had some huge highlights and the Explosion under first year player/coach Chris Weakley went with a very young roster and has set some IBL/Team records that will hard pressed to ever have broken in seasons to come. The Explosion for the first time in the organizations history will finish under .500 with a hopeful win tonight over the expansion team from Yamhill improving their record to 9-11 for the season.
Devon Greene will be the current IBL record holder for most points scored in a season. This is the first season that Snohomish County Explosion has had a player in the top 10 for league scoring. This record was previous held by Cedric Moodie from the Elkhart Express scoring 618 points in 22 games during the 2008 season. Devon Greene is the new IBL record holder scoring 658 points in 19 games, with one more game to add to this most impressive record, in the 2009 season. Devon Greene at the age of 24 is truly the best scorer the IBL has ever seen.
