Maywood Buzz Defeat Tijuana Dragons 126-112 - All-Star Lamar Gayle Led with 40 Points - ABA (American Basketball Association)

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Maywood, CA.  The ABA Maywood Buzz, losers of their last three games, went to Tijuana with a chip on its shoulder.  "The losses that we have this season could have all ben wins, but for two games," stated Buzz Head Coach/GM Burrel Lee III.  "We had to revamp our roster, add, subtract and carry the 1.  We wanted to go into the New Year with the right team and the right style of play."

The Buzz beat the Tijuana Dragons 126-112 and had 4 players with double-doubles.  "It is funny that after we have a game like this and 4 guys with double-doubles that we end up after the game having team dinner at an 'n' out burgers home of the double doubles," said Lee.

The Buzz was led by 2006 ABA All-Star Lamar Gayle who had 40 pints, 18 rebounds and 7 assists. Tarron "The Beast" Williams had 29 pionts and 10 rebounds and rookie sensation guard Terrell Hendricks 21 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.  Chad Thornton-King had the other double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.  The Buzz finish the 2006 part of the season and go into the New Year with a 6-6 record.
