So Cal Scorpions Host New England Intensity at the WPFL AFC Wild Card Game in La Jolla on October 7, 2006

MLN Newswire -The So Cal Scorpions of the WPFL will host the Women’s Professional Football League AFC Wild Card game in La Jolla on Saturday, October 7th at 5 P.M. at Edward’s Stadium 750 Nautilus St. in La Jolla (Next to La Jolla High School).  The Scorpions will host the New England Intensity.
 
The winner of this game will advance to the WPFL American Conference Championship game in Dallas Texas to face the defending champion Dallas Diamonds.
 
This is the second consecutive season that the Scorpions have made the playoffs. Last season they advanced to the Conference Championship and lost to the Diamonds.  
 
This will be the first time the Scorpions and the Intensity have gone head to head.
