Women's Professional Football League Encourages Fans to Vote for WPFL

Hurst, TX. -The Women’s Professional Football League All Pro Committee announced the voting activation for All Pro selection for the 2007 WPFL All Pro teams.

On October 22nd at 12:01 A.M. CST fans will voting will go on the WPFL website, www.womensprofootball.com. Final player selections will be calculated by 25% player votes, 10% fans, 25% coach votes, and 40% season stats.

Voting for the 2007 All Pro coaching staff will be calculated by 25% player votes and 75% coaching votes. All votes will be due October 31st, 5 PM CST.

“We will have a very precise voting system this season” Stated All Pro committee member, Mark Ring.

“We made history last season hosting the very first women’s pro football All Pro game in America last season” Stated Committee Chair Dawn Berndt. “Now we plan to raise the bar on the voting as well as the entire event” Added Berndt.

In addition, the committee announced that any team in bad standing will not be eligible to submit stats, player or coach votes for any All Pro selection.
The best professional female football players are selected from WPFL teams across the nation and play in an AFC versus NFC match up similar to the NFL’s Pro Bowl game.

The second annual All Pro Game will be held on December 2nd in the same city as the 2007 WPFL Championship game, which will be held this season at the home of the American Conference Champion. As of to date the final location contenders are between Rochester, New York, Los Angels California, and San Diego, California.
