AFLs Arizona Rattlers Sign Two More Players as Training Camp Continues

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – MESA, AZ. – The Arizona Rattlers announced two more signings today as the team continued its training camp practices at Gene Autry Park, adding FB/LB JOHN BRONSON (6-3, 275, Penn State) and OL ROB NELSON (6-10, 320, San Diego State) into the mix.

Bronson, who spent three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, is entering his rookie season in the AFL. With the Cardinals from 2005-07, Bronson played a variety of roles, including fullback and tight end. He played two games in 2006, recording one catch for 25 yards. Bronson was a stand-out at Penn State, playing at defensive end before switching to tight end his senior season.

Nelson, who is also a rookie, was truly a stand-out at San Diego State; measuring six feet, 10 inches, he ranks as the tallest player in Aztec history. He played for Scottsdale Community College after graduating from Skyline High School.
