CUTTERS CATCH OF THE WEEK

Lexington wide receiver Chad Spencer (6-4, 270, Georgetown) is the Week 4 recipient of the Cutters Catch of the Week Award, a weekly honor that emerged in 2006 to highlight the player who makes the best catch of the week. Spencer’s catch was a leaping, 32-yard touchdown stab as time expired to propel the Horsemen to a 41-35 road win at Mahoning Valley. The rookie from Georgetown caught the ball two yards outside of the end zone and managed to corral the pass in play, pivot and fight through two defenders on his way into the end zone. Spencer’s game-winning grab capped off a strong overall showing that included six catches for 88 yards and three touchdowns. This is the first Catch of the Week Award of Spencer’s career.
