St. Louis SLAM Crush Kansas City Storm 54-0 - NWFA

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - The SLAM continued its winning streak at CBC High School on Saturday, beating the Kansas City Storm 54-0.  The St. Louis SLAM women's professional full contact football team is now 4-0 in 2008, after posting a 7-1 regular season record in 2007, the best in the six-year history of the SLAM.

The SLAM defense continued its dominance, posting the second shutout in only 4 games.  Linebacker, Kelly Kozlen, grabbed her third interception of the season, and Chris Hampton returned an interception for a touchdown in the first quarter. The SLAM offense continued to play a balanced game, with 4 rushing TDs and 2 passing TDs on the day.  Fullback, LaCreisha Lane , punched in her first TD of the season early in the game, and kick returner, Toya “Turtle” Brown, added 6 more to the scoreboard, returning the opening kickoff 78 yards for the score.
