Utah Blaze QB Joe Germaine Named Offensive Player of the Week - AFL

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - SALT LAKE CITY – The Arena Football League Office announced Utah  Blaze QB JOE GERMAINE (6-2, 238, Ohio State) as Offensive Player of  the Week for his performance in last Saturday’s 67-50 victory over  the Kansas City Brigade. 
 
 
 
 “Joe has been a true leader on and off the field,“ said Blaze  head coach/general manager DANNY WHITE. “He has been everything  that we expected him to be and is truly deserving of this  recognition.” 
 
 
 
 Germaine, who is in his third season with the Blaze, finished the  game by completing 24-of-30 (80.0%) of his passes for 337 yards,  eight touchdowns and one interception. He also recorded a nine-yard  touchdown run. So far this season, Germaine has completed 272-of-395  passes (68.9%) for a league-leading 3,148 yards and 64 touchdowns.
