The Slam kept their perfect record perfect beating the Comets in a high
scoring game. The Fusion beat the Chaos. The Phoenix kept their perfect record
perfect with a win over the Crush. The Burn and the Titans had a great close game
with the Burn winning. The Mayhem kept their perfect season perfect beating
the Diamonds. The Karma beat the Renegades and the Outlaws beat the Fury. The
Cyclones beat the Lightning in a close game. The Herricanes beat the Barracudas
and the Nemesis beat the Freeze.

New York Nemesis Still Undefeated!
Old Orchard Beach, ME-The New York Nemesis continued their regular season
dominance with a convincing 58-8 romp over the Maine Freeze in National Women's
Football Association (NWFA) action Saturday night.

of the game, the Nemesis continued to roll up some impressive offensive
numbers. The team added 236 yards on the ground led by the other co/offensive
player of the game Ximora Diaz (8-170-4) in addition to her yardage on the ground
she added 3 catches for 45 yards and a kickoff return for 25 yards, capping off
an impressive performance. Sandy Nesbitt added 57 yards on the ground and a
touchdown on a spectacular, run shedding several tacklers enroute to the end
zone. Newcomer, Nina Yaccovic showed off her offensive abilities when she
hauled in a 68 yard touchdown pass from Halesworth.

Renegade Defense Rocked but Offense Couldn't Roll
The Alabama Renegades offense was stifled by a blitzing Karma defense as
Alabama was defeated Saturday 14-0. The Alabama defense came up with big stops and
created turnovers, and the offense drove the field several times during the
game but was never able to get the ball in the end zone. Kentucky was held
scoreless three out of four innings. Their 14 points came in the second quarter on
a running play and a pass.

AUSTIN OUTLAWS 5-2 TO TAKE ON OKLAHOMA FOR A WILDCARD PLAYOFF SPOT!!
The Austin Outlaws will host the Oklahoma City Lightning this Saturday, June
21st at 7pm. The Outlaws are 5-2 for the season after a big 41-0 win over the
North Texas Fury this past Saturday. The game will be held at the Texas
School for the Deaf at 1102 S. Congress in Austin, TX.
The previous game between the Outlaws and the Oklahoma City Lightning took
place in Oklahoma and ended with a 28-22 Outlaw victory. It was the Outlaws’
first win over the Lightning in five seasons. The winner of this second Outlaw –
Lightning game will have a shot at the wildcard playoff spot in the NWFA
Southern Conference. The Outlaws last run in the playoffs came in 2006 and

registration for the Saturday, June 21st tryouts in Carrollton will begin at
8:30am. Please call the Lone Star Mustangs for location and directions.
The tryouts are open to all women age 18 and older. No football experience Is
necessary. Those interested in physical fitness and improving their skills
are encouraged to attend. Participants should wear workout clothes, bring a
water bottle, photo ID, a copy of your current health insurance, and registration
fee of $55 (cash or check only). Those interested in non-sport, support
positions are also welcome. We need assistant football coaches, dance coaches,
dancers, and volunteers!
