Arena Football League One Announces Signing Procedures

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -October 29, 2009 – Spokane, WA: The League office of Arena Football One confirmed today that teams can begin signing players and coaches on November 1st.

Once signed, these contracts will be submitted to the Arena Football One office for final approval and execution.

“We are pleased to begin the process of signing coaches and players,” said Commissioner Jerry Kurz. “This process will be the culmination and final stages in solidifying the highest caliber and only professional playing of Arena Football.”

For Shock Head Coach Rob Keefe the beginning of the signing period means that fans will finally begin to see the fruit of the coaching staff’s recruiting over the last several months.

“The players we will be signing on November 1st are going to turn some heads,” explained Keefe. “Shock fans are going to be seeing a whole new level of talent in town. We can’t wait to be able to announce the players who will be wearing a Shock uniform next season.”

Commissioner Bud Selig shaved drug suspensions of players and broke the rules of MLB. Will Manny Ramirez and three others do a year? What will happen to dozens of minor league players whose records, teams, and leagues are affected? Read the whole story at SZ ( www.mlnsports.com).
