New York Sentinels vs Las Vegas Locos Preview
Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 07:11PM MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com-The New York Sentinels are playing their second game in the New York market as they host the Las Vegas Locos tonight at Hofstra University. Sentinels' WR Craphonso Thorpe has developed into one of the dominant receivers in the UFL with 201 receiving yards and averaging 11.8 yards a catch. Sentinels LB Leon Williams, who signed with the team on October 25th, immediately went to work with 11 tackles his first game. The former University of Miami star and 4th round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns will look to establish himself as one the top defensive forces in the UFL. The Sentinels, who are still seeking their first win, will be looking to turn things around against a Loco offensive line that has been prone to allowing sacks. The Locos, led by DeDe Dorsey, have the top rushing offense in the League. Dorsey turned in the UFL's highest single game rushing performance last week against Florida, when he rushed for 139 yards on only 12 carries. Locos QB JP Losman is averaging 239 yards per game passing, while completing 60.8% of his passes. Las Vegas put on an explosive offensive show against the Tuskers this past Friday evening, twice scoring on one-play drives, which included a 60-yard touchdown pass from Losman to Tab Perry and a 46-yard touchdown run by Dorsey.
