The American Association Teamline Direct Pitcher of the Week is Vinnie DeChristofaro of the Grand Prairie AirHogs

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Grand Prairie, TX (06.23.08) -  Grand Prairie AirHog's relief pitcher Vinnie DeChristofaro has been selected by PA-Sportsticker, the official statistician of the American Association, as the Teamline Direct Pitcher of the Week.

DeChristofaro, 26, earned two victories out of the bullpen for the AirHogs from June 16-22.  He made four appearances over that span, hurling 5.2 innings with no runs allowed, surrendering just three hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.
 The left-hander hasn't allowed a run in his last 10 outings. He currently sports a 3-0 record with a team best 1.21 ERA in 29.2 innings pitched.
