@ Brockton, MA. Time: 2:10 Attendance: 2,233
W: Steven Delabar (1-0) L: Michel Simard (4-1) S: Jerry Dunn (8)
HR: BR-Jud Thigpen (7)
Brockton starting pitcher Steven Delabar allowed one run on four hits and struck out five through seven innings to pick up his first win of the season. His performance overshadowed a strong outing from his counterpart, Quebec starter Michel Simard, who allowed two runs on seven hits and also struck out five in seven innings. Brockton RF Jud Thigpen did the bulk of the damage at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored. Rox closer Jerry Dunn tossed a perfect ninth to record his eighth save of the year.

W: Juan Done (4-2) L: Eddie Pena (3-2) S: Rusty Tucker (9)
HR: WT-BJ Weed (2), Chuck Jeroloman (2)
New Jersey used a three-run rally in the seventh inning to take this one over and win on the road. Jackals DH Luke Allen was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI to lead the way at the plate. New Jersey starting pitcher Juan Done allowed three runs on six hits and struck out two in six innings to move his record to 4-2 on the year. Jackals closer Rusty Tucker fanned one in a perfect ninth to pick up his ninth save. Worcester CF BJ Weed had a good game in the losing effort, going 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBI.

Nashua 4, Atlantic City 2
@ Atlantic City, NJ. Time: 2:29 Attendance: 1,080
W: Lance Stevens (4-2) L: Aaron Easton (1-2) S: Andy Weimer (9)
HR: AC-Gil Zayas (1)
Lance Stevens didn’t make many mistakes, allowing just one hit and two runs in seven innings, en route to the victory. With the win, Stevens improved his record to 4-2 on the year and Nashua crept to within a game of the .500 mark. The one hit allowed by Stevens was a solo home run off the bat of 3B Gil Zayas in the fifth inning. Pride 3B Jack Joffrion led the way at the plate for Nashua. He was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Pride closer Andy Weimer held down the lead in the ninth to record his ninth save.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sussex 10, Ottawa 7 (12 innings)
@ Ottawa, ON. Time: 3:51 Attendance: 2,454
W: Matt Petrusek (3-0) L: Noel Baca (1-4) S: Matt Salvato (2)
HR: SS-Walter Young (6)
In a marathon that lasted nearly four hours, the Sussex Skyhawks found enough in their tank to pull off the win after 12 innings. Things didn’t look good for Sussex early, as they trailed 5-1 after two innings. But from there the bullpen took over and allowed just two runs, only one earned, the rest of the way. Skyhawks DH Walter Young certainly did his part to keep Sussex in the game. He finished 5-for-6 with a home run and four RBI. Skyhawks leadoff man Ron Perodin also had a nice game, going 4-for-7 with four runs scored and a RBI.
