MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - The Gateway Grizzlies won their second consecutive game Saturday night, slipping by the Florence Freedom 6-5 in front of 1,751 at Champion Window Field in Florence, KY.

The win is the Grizzlies' third on the road, and clinches their first road series win of the year.

The Grizzlies (7-10) scored five times with two outs in the sixth inning to take a 6-4 lead that they would never surrender.  Travis Fultz hit his first professional home run to cut the Freedom lead to 4-2.  Charlie Lisk added an RBI in the inning, as did newcomer John Alonso both with singles.  Alonso was signed earlier in the day and started as the Grizzlies designated hitter.
