The Atlantic City Surf got plenty of production from their offense en route to an easy win on the road, pulling them to within a game of the .500 mark. The Surf collected 13 hits as a team, led by SS Anthony Granato who was 3-for-4 with a run scored and a pair of RBI. Atlantic City starting pitcher Rory Shortell allowed three runs on five hits while striking out four in five innings to record his first win of the year. Nashua 1B Bryan Duplissie and RF Jeremy Pickrel each went deep in the losing effort.

New Jersey 21, Worcester 9

The Jackals scored a league-record 21 runs pounded out 28 hits, also a league record, en route to an easy win at home. Only three hitters failed to record at least three hits as New Jersey RF Craig Maddox led an offensive onslaught. Maddox led all hitters, going 4-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and five RBI. Two other Jackals hitters had four hits in the game, including DH Vic Davilla, who was 4-for-6 with two runs scored and five RBI. Jackals starting pitcher Juan Done was the beneficiary of such run support. He allowed seven runs on nine hits in six innings, but picked up his fifth win of the season.
