Atlantic City Surf Have Players in Several Leader Categories in the Can-Am League

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com –  Several Atlantic City players are among the league's leaders:

            - Adam Cox, last week's Can-Am League Pitcher of the Week, leads the circuit with 92 strikeouts this season, while his 2.24 season ERA is good for fourth in the league. His seven victories tie him for third.
-Starter Brian Rodaway is tenth with a 3.27 ERA, and is third with 82.2 innings.
-DH Clyde Williams has been hot as of late, getting hits in 10 of his last 11 games. He has also driven in 10 runs in his last seven games, and is currently second in the league with 43 RBI.
-SS Anthony Granato is tied for the Can-Am lead with 18 stolen bases, while CF Lucas Taylor is fourth with 16 swipes. Granato is also tied for third with 19 doubles.

-Walker Whitley leads the loop with 27 appearances.
-As a team, the Surf have a league-high 78 stolen bases.
  
-Former Quebec pitcher Eric Cyr, who was sold to the Los Angeles Dodgers' organization several weeks ago, has been promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas, and made his first appearance with the club July 19. Cyr is the seventh Can-Am alumni currently in Triple-A, while another six play at the Double-A level.
 
-Last season's Can-Am League Player of the Year, Worcester's Olmo Rosario, went 2-for-2 in last week's Double-A All-Star Game. Rosario is part of the San Francisco Giants' organization, currently playing for Norwich of the Eastern League.
