The Sussex Skyhawks came from behind to upend Worcester on the road and win the series 3-1 to advance to the championship series. The Skyhawks trailed 5-0 entering the fourth inning, but rallied for six runs in the frame to take a 6-5 lead. They would score twice more in the fifth inning to extend their lead to 8-5 and held on to win 8-6. Sussex collected 13 hits as a team, led by 1B Matthew Weston who was 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Skyhawks SS Kevin Rios also had three hits, finishing the game 3-for-4 with a run scored and a pair driven in. Sussex reliever Craig Snipp took over for starter Matt Salvato to start the third inning and did not allow a run through 3 2/3 innings to earn the win, his first of the postseason. Snipp allowed three hits and fanned two in the outing. Skyhawks closer Matt Petrusek sealed the win by allowing one run in 1 2/3 innings of relief to earn his third save.

Quebec 6, Atlantic City 0 (Quebec wins series 3-1)

The Quebec Capitales got a great outing from starting pitcher Orlando Trias to shutout Atlantic City 6-0 and move on to face Sussex in the Can-Am League Championship Series. Trias allowed just two hits while striking out five in seven shutout
innings to earn his second win of the postseason. The Quebec staff held Atlantic City to just four hits in the contest. Capitales 3B Pat Deschenes came up big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with a pair of RBI. Quebec 1B Eddie Lantigua also swung a big stick, going 1-for-5 as well with a solo home run. Capitales LF Alex Nunez was the only hitter in the game to record more than one hit. He was 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored.
