Mobile BayBears Win Victory Over Mississippi Braves 7-3

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - MOBILE, Ala. - A great start and a solid finish paced the BayBears  in a 7-3 victory over the Mississippi Braves at Hank Aaron Stadium.

It didn't take long for the BayBears (11-12) to get on the board as  they pushed home a pair in the first inning. Guillermo Reyes led off  with a walk and advanced to second on a base hit by Yunesky Sanchez.  An error by Braves (5-18) shortstop Javier Guzman on a grounder off  the bat of Cyle Hankerd, allowed Reyes to touch home. Hankerd then  scored on a sac fly from Brandon Burgess.

In the second, Chris Rahl tripled over the head of center fielder  Quentin Davis and scored on a base hit by Reyes. Mississippi drew  closer in the fourth on a two-run double by Mark Jurich, but the  BayBears pulled away in the later innings, making a winner out of  starter Hector Ambriz (2-2), who worked five innings while  surrendering just four hits.
