The Sea Dogs dropped two of three to the Baysox and finished their 7-game homestand at 4-3.

Bergesen earned his second win in as many starts against the Sea Dogs, allowing one unearned run on four hits, four walks and three strikeouts.

Julio Manon notched his 11th save of the season, working two perfect innings in relief. Manon earned four saves against the Sea Dogs this year, hurling five perfect innings and fanned eight. Trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Sea Dogs loaded the bases against Cam Mickolio. Manon entered the game and retired John Otness, Aaron Bates and Andrew Pinckney.

Montanez gave Bowie a 2-0 lead with a run-scoring bloop single in the third. The Bowie left fielder added the final run of the series with a solo-blast off Mike James to start the sixth.

Portland's lone run came on a throwing error by centerfielder Kennard Jones in the fourth. Jeff Corsaletti advanced to third base on a fly out by John Otness and scored when the throw hit him in the leg and rolled down the third base line.
