Winston-Salem Warthogs Game Against Kinston Indians Postponed in Fourth Inning - Carolina League

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The series finale between Winston-Salem and Kinston was suspended going into the bottom of the fifth inning due to rain.  Kinston led 1-0 when the skies opened and poured their fury on the diamond.  After a two-hour delay and tireless efforts by the Warthog grounds crew, the game was officially suspended.  A Makeup date has not been determined.

Kinston struck for the only run as Adam Davis led off the game with a solo home run off Matt Zaleski.  The Warthogs starter only allowed two hits over his next four innings.  Kinston starting pitcher Steven Wright was stellar in keeping Winston-Salem hitless thru four frames with six strikeouts.
