Richmond Braves Beat Louisville Bats 4-3 - AAA, IL

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Richmond, VA- The Richmond Braves beat the Louisville Bats 4-3 at The Diamond Saturday.  The Braves Wes Timmons doubled Brent Lillibridge home in the last of the ninth to give the Braves their first walk-off win of the season.
 
Louisville took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on an RBI fielder’s choice by Chris Dickerson.  The Braves responded with a three run fourth.  Joe Borchard smacked a two-run home run and Clint Sammons chased a run home with a double.  Louisville rallied back to tie the game in the eighth on RBI singles by Adam Rosales and Dickerson.  In the ninth Timmons double allowed Lillibridge to score from first with two outs.
SeatSub Challenge 2008 Contest  
Zach Schreiber picked up the win.  Jon Adkins took the loss.  Charlie Morton pitched seven innings of one-hit, one-run ball for the Braves.  Sammons and Diory Hernandez had two hits each for the Braves.  Drew Anderson had two hits for the Bats.
 
The Bats and Braves conclude their series Sunday at 2 PM at The Diamond.  Francisley Bueno will pitch for Richmond against Justin Lehr.
