Portland Sea Dogs Game Highlights and Box Score - AA, Eastern League

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - New Hampshire - 0  Portland - 10  Box Score attached. - (Portland, ME) - Michael Bowden (2-3) hurled 6 and 2/3 scoreless innings and Mark Wagner drove in 5 runs, leading the Sea Dogs to a 10-0 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field.

The Sea Dogs have won two straight over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, scoring 24 runs on 26 hits and hitting seven home runs in two nights.

New Hampshire had one hit on the night - a lead-off double by Kyle Phillips in third inning. Bowden finished with one walk and three strikeouts, lowering his ERA to 2.68. The righty has yielded only one run in his last 18 and 2/3 innings pitched.

Scott Richmond (2-4) suffered the loss for New Hampshire , yielding three runs on six hits over six innings pitched.

Bubba Bell led off the scoring with a solo-blast in the third inning of Richmond . Bell has homered in back-to-back games and finished the night 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored. Wagner gave Portland a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning with a 2-run homer and smacked a 3-run double in the seventh inning. Mickey Hall added a solo-shot in the eighth inning and has three homers out of his four Double-A hits.

Aaron Bates added 2 RBI on a sacrifice fly and a hit-by-pitch. Bates has 9 RBI in two games and leads the team with 21.

Jeff Corsaletti had an RBI and scored three runs. Iggy Suarez had two hits and scored once.

Hunter Jones and Beau Vaughan combined to pitch 2 and 1/3 perfect innings.
