Pawtucket Red Sox Complete Sweep of Richmond Braves with 4-1 Win

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com –  Pawtucket, RI- The Pawtucket Red Sox beat the Richmond Braves 4-1 Thursday at McCoy Stadium. The Red Sox completed a four game series sweep of the Braves as they drop five straight games and nine of their last ten. 
 
The Braves took the lead early as a Barbaro Canizares ground out scored Josh Anderson in the first inning. The Red Sox tied it up in the second scoring off a fielding error by Diory Hernandez. Pawtucket added three runs in the seventh on a two RBI double by Jed Lowrie and another RBI double by Bryan Pritz to cap the scoring.
 
David Pauley picked up the win going seven innings, allowing only one run and striking out nine. Matt DeSalvo took the loss. Hunter Jones notched a save. Carl Loadenthal had two hits for the Braves.
