Sacramento River Cats Defeat Tucson Sidewinders 9-3 - AAA, PCL

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – West Sacramento, Calif. – Casey Rogowski drove in four runs with a home run and a triple as the Sacramento River Cats defeated the Tucson Sidewinders 9-3 at Raley Field in front of 9,998 fans on Friday night. Rogowski’s two-run home run, his 11th homer of the season, came in the third inning and gave the River Cats a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. Rogowski drove in another two runs in the seventh with a triple, finishing 2-for-4 on the night. Sacramento starter Brad Knox earned the win, throwing 6.2 innings and allowing three runs on seven hits. Brooks Conrad hit his 16th home run of the season and seventh home run in 14 games versus Tucson. Conrad was 1-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored and an RBI. The River Cats have won their last four games against Tucson and move to 11-3 against the Sidewinders this season.
