Memphis Redbirds Blow Out New Orleans Zephyrs 11-1 - AAA, Pacific Coast League

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis used a huge seven-run eighth inning to blow out New Orleans 11-1 on Saturday night in front of 10,231 fans at AutoZone Park.

The Redbirds offense exploded in the eighth with Rico Washington’s pinch hit, two-run homer capping the rally. Brian Barden led off the inning with a triple and scored on Colby Rasmus single one batter later. Shane Robinson knocked in a run with a single and later scored on Bryan Anderson’s three-run double. Barden finished the night a double shy of the cycle going 3-for-5, including a two-run homer in the third inning.
