Salt Lake Bees Defeat Tacoma Rainiers 8-4 - AAA, PCL

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Salt Lake - Nick Green tossed seven and two-third solid innings to help lead the Salt Lake Bees to an 8-4 win over the Tacoma Rainiers on Thursday night.  Green (5-4) picked up his first win since May 24th, as he pitched five scoreless innings as the Bees built a 7-0 lead.  He surrendered two runs in the sixth and two more in the eighth before giving way to Matt Wilhite, who did not allow a run over the last one and one-third innings.

Freddy Sandoval led the Bees' fourteen hit attack, as he went 3-for-4, including a three run homer and a double.  Ben Johnson added two hits, including a two run blast, while Chris Walker and Dee Brown each chipped in two hits and one RBI.  The win capped off the Bees' four game series sweep over Tacoma in which they outscored the Rainiers 40-18.
