Sacramento River Cats Roll to 12-2 Win Over Salt Lake Bees - AAA, PCL
Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 04:10PM MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Sacramento - Sacramento scored ten runs over a two inning stretch, as the River Cats rolled to a 12-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday night. Brandon Wood's two run double in the fourth inning gave the Bees a 2-1 lead, but Sacramento plated four runs in the fifth and added six more in the sixth to take control of the game. Giancarlo Alvarado (6-3) was tagged with the loss, as he allowed nine runs, seven earned, on nine hits in five and one-third innings with four strikeouts and five walks.

Wood had two hits with two runs batted in to extend his hitting streak to six games. Dee Brown singled in the sixth inning to also stretch his hitting streak to six. The loss snapped the Bees' five game winning streak.
